Our journey started as practitioners.
Back in the early 2000’s we built an “Amazon” style commodity trading business connecting suppliers with warehouses of products with corporates looking to buy, through dedicated branded private ecommerce sites.
In the absence of a suitable platform to power the system, we built our own.
This experience defined our data philosophy:
Don’t Repeat Yourself.
Data should only be entered once, ideally by your downstream suppliers and partners, not your overworked administration staff.
It should be simple to find and accessible to the business applications and users that need it.
Everything should be served from one single master record.
Armed with the knowledge we had gained as practitioners, we realised others would benefit from our unique way of seeing things.
After a partial exit in 2013 retaining the underlying software IP, we saw an opportunity to extend the platform to address the broader supply chain requirements of our corporate partners.
Unlike many software companies, we “ate our own dogfood” and hence knew we had built something special; a product that worked in the real world of supply chain complexity and adapting to the varying needs of our customers.
It was here that our Fusion platform was born.
Close relationships with our early customers shaped the platform into a solution that solves real problems and delivers against its promise of building visibility into the supply chain.
Today, our platform covers the entire life cycle of procurement from onboarding suppliers, catalogue management, procurement, invoicing and returns, underpinned by a rich understanding of the underlying dataset.
We are proud to serve a wide range of customers across different industries and geographies, providing them with a single source of the truth for their supplier data.
